Prologue

After an extended vacation from blogger, I'm back again. I won't admit to the number of blogs I've started and quit.. we'll just say it's been a few. I also have no intention of promising that I'll keep up on this one either. I'll certainly outgrow it, just as I have with the rest. And finally, I'm not going to act like I'll post regularly, and I'm sensible enough to know that no apology for my intended failure is necessary, because let's be honest- nobody really cares how much other people blog.. unless they're stalking them or something else silly. I will also be using run-on sentences frequently, so read on at your own risk.

Lately I've realized I'm extremely talkative, even to the point of possibly irritating other people frequently. No one has told me they're irritated, but as a precaution to losing friends, I'll try to funnel some of my blathering here instead. I can't remember ever having so much to say, or at least so much that I was willing to say. Life is continually making me more independent, and thereby instilling self-confidence bit by bit, and with all of that comes increased chattiness I suppose.

Today is a good day for starting a blog, because I'm feeling good, and so much myself. Today I went to work, loved it-as always, came home, and spent the rest of my evening being my silly self. I shall never tire of singing and dancing like a complete crazy alone in my room. Today's soundtrack included Disney favorites, Florence, and of course Madonna. To give you an idea of the fun, it generally looks kind of like Joan of Arc at 3:23...
Of course you're jealous.

I also finished this lovely little book tonight. It's about time, I'm really not sure why I never read it before now. It was darling, and perfect. Definitely reinforcing my "happily ever after" and "true love" notions about life, which is always a good thing.

The last few months have certainly been a whirlwind, but all is well. More than well, life is wonderful. I'm constantly amazed at the goodness and beauty I'm constantly surrounded by. I really truly believe that life is whatever you want it to be- for me a fairytale, and that everything happens the way it is meant to. I'm thrilled to be alive and to be experiencing everything that I am. I hope I'll at least be a faithful enough blogger to capture some of the most lovely things that happen during this thrilling age of twenty.

P.S. In case you're hankering for some cheesy 80's true love nonsense. I always am..
